This acoustic talent show, born from the collaboration between JCarbani of Yei Formatos and Pablo Chacón of Studio Gama Producciones, who seeks to offer a unique platform for musicians from all over the country to showcase their talent.
“Acústico El Reto”: A Musical Competition
“Acústico El Reto” is distinguished by its acoustic format, giving an authentic and unprecedented musical competition in Costa Rica. The program’s judges include prominent figures such as Gabriel Wiernik of Mezanine Studio, musician and composer member of the popular Costa Rican band Tango India; Adriana Víquez, renowned Costa Rican actress famous for her performances in stage musicals and television series; and JCarbani, the show’s executive producer.
The program consists of 8 audition episodes and 6 finals episodes in a live show format, where the finalists will demonstrate their talent. Since its inception in early 2022, Acústico “El Reto” has attracted musicians from all over the country, creating a vibrant artistic community.
