Last Saturday, November 18th at the Texas Tech University facilities, the Ethereum Costa Rica Day was held as part of the Costa Rica Blockchain Week.
This day was full of activities such as talks, workshops, conferences and networking spaces, focused on Blockchain technology, specifically on Ethereum, the largest Blockchain development network in Costa Rica.
The goal is to introduce new users, developers, enthusiasts and entrepreneurs to the world of Blockchain, through education, experience and community, -explained Kevin Barquero, member of the Ethereum Costa Rica community.
A space for learning and networking.
The activity was aimed at new users of these technologies, students, company developers and entrepreneurs who want to get into the world of Blockchain. During this intensive one-day experience, attendees participated in panels, talks and workshops related to these topics.
Among the topics on the agenda were the use of wallets, NFTs, development in languages such as Solidity and Cairo, Cryptography and introduction to Zero Knowledge, and DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations).
Digital Notary: A new paradigm with Blockchain
Fabricio Espinoza, CEO of enotar.io, was in charge of giving a talk called ¨Digital Notary: A new paradigm with Blockchain. Real use cases¨ in which he shared with those present his experiences in this field and discussed how Blockchain technology is being applied to create innovative solutions in this and other areas related to the notary’s office.

With more than 20 national and international speakers participating, the “Ethereum Costa Rica Day” was an opportunity for attendees to better understand these new technologies.
This event was not only a space for learning, but also for networking and future collaborations.
